Repairing Damage with OEM Parts

Mackin’s utilizes Subaru OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts to ensure a high-quality, long-lasting solution.

Standardized, aftermarket collision parts often don’t fit or match the unique body lines of Subarus. But Subaru OEM replacement parts are made by the manufacturer, so they match your car’s original parts perfectly.

What To Expect – Our Process

At Mackin’s, we go above and beyond to ensure you and your vehicle get back on the road safely and swiftly. When you choose us, you can rest assured that you’re getting transparency and unmatched customer service at every stage of the process.

While every repair is a little bit different, we always implement tried and true strategies to keep the repair process smooth and successful.

Here are the steps to a typical Subaru collision repair process:

1. Assess the Damage

The Subaru repair process at Mackin’s starts with a comprehensive examination of your vehicle to identify the damage caused by the collision.

2. Order Parts and Materials

We’ll order OEM Subaru parts and components to ensure we return your car to you with its original specifications.

3. Coordinate Temporary Transportation

Upon request, we’ll arrange a rental car for you while your vehicle is being repaired. If you need a ride home, you can also take advantage of our free courtesy shuttle service.

4. Disassemble Vehicle Damage

We’ll carefully disassemble the damaged areas of your car. This will give us the opportunity to locate potential hidden damage that may not be visible during the initial inspection. Should we identify additional repairs that may be needed, we’ll inform you right away to get approval and answer all your questions.

5. Correct Body and Frame Damage

Once we’ve disassembled damaged components, we’ll begin repairs. As a Subaru certified shop, we conduct our services using only the highest quality equipment and materials. Our Subaru-trained technicians will correct body damage with frame and panel realignment, dent repair, and bumper and fender repair or replacement.

6. Refinish Car Exterior

Once your car is in good structural condition, we’ll get to work on the refinishing process. By using environmentally friendly paint from BASF along with advanced color-matching software, our technicians will make sure your car looks as good as new.

7. Clean up and Return to Owner

After all repairs are complete and your car is back to its original condition, we’ll clean up and vacuum your car’s interior before returning it to you.

What Our Customers Are Saying

Fantastic shop. They got the work done very well AND ahead of schedule and made the whole process incredibly smooth and so much less stressful!! I had a cross country trip planned just two months after a hit and run and was so afraid I’d have to cancel the whole thing for the repair work. Eric went above and beyond to ensure my car was done before my trip and I can’t appreciate the staff here enough!!!”

Having your vehicle in the shop sucks no matter what. Mackin’s makes it a much less painful process. They do excellent work, keep you informed while they do it, and answer any questions you have. Every person I worked with was professional and pleasant, and exceeded expectations. This is not my first time getting repairs from them and I will continue to bring my business to them; and recommend them to others.

– Greg Babonis

I am so pleased with the customer service here – I had text updates and courtesy phone calls every step of the way. Also very pleased with the end result of my vehicle – looks great!I like the attention to detail of the techs who not only made the repairs but also did a fairly thorough cleaning of my vehicle both inside and out. Special shout-out to Stephanie who ensured things ran smoothly. Also my vehicle was ready a day early which was awesome! I highly recommend this place!
